KUUSOU MATCH
空想のマッチ箱を100枚ひたすら描きためた作品集。お菓子の箱や、飴の包み紙などは一番身近にある”絵”だと思います。
そういった”身近な絵”の中でもマッチ箱は昔から大好きです。
使い終えても手元に残しておきたくなるような、そんな存在。
私の絵もつい近くに置いておきたくなるような、身近な存在になれたらと思ってこのKUUSOU MATCHを描き始めました。

好きなモチーフ、気ままなアイデアから描き起こすこともあれば、その日に聴いていた音楽の題名や、この日は日食があったとか、友達と行った喫茶店の店主の頭にインコが乗っていたことなど、日々の様々な発見をKUUSOU MATCHに描いていきました。

本当に自由に楽しんで描きました。
絵を見る方も自由にいろんなことを思って、クスッと楽しんで身近に感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。

A collection of 100 "imaginary matchboxes" born from everyday discoveries. To me, sweets boxes and candy wrappers are the most familiar forms of "art." Among these, I have always been fascinated by matchboxes—small treasures you want to keep even after the last match is gone.

This project began with the hope that my own art could become such a familiar presence in someone's life. Some designs were sparked by favorite motifs or spontaneous ideas, while others captured fleeting moments: the title of a song I heard, a solar eclipse, or the memory of a café owner with a parakeet perched on their head.

Created with a spirit of pure freedom and joy, I hope these illustrations bring a smile to your face and find a small, cozy place in your daily life.
